Stories of Hope from Women Leaving MAGA
A Short Documentary
Watch the Sizzle Reel

Synopsis

Across America, a growing number of women are walking away from MAGA and Christian Nationalist movements, often at tremendous personal cost. In It’s OK to Change Your Mind, they share their journeys in their own words, revealing the challenges and joys of changing deeply held beliefs, discovering new truths, and leaving communities they once called home.
The film tells the stories of five women whose lives were shaped by extremely conservative political and religious movements. Each story offers a rare and intimate look at what it takes to rethink a worldview, confront uncomfortable truths, and begin again.
At a time when political division often encourages condemnation rather than understanding, this documentary chooses a different path. It invites viewers to listen. Through deeply personal stories of loss, courage, and transformation, the film explores universal themes of identity and the human capacity for change.
When their faith and sense of belonging collide with the truth, these women risked everything. Their stories can help build bridges across political divides, inspire others questioning their own beliefs, and demonstrate that healing, growth, and hope remain possible.
